Pieros Pieris is a partner at Pieris Architects since 2003 and one of the project and design managers. He received his Bachelor's Degree from the Oxford School of Architecture where he was awarded the Barton Willmore Prize for the best performance in Design and was nominated for the RIBA Presidents Medals in 2000. He completed his architectural studies at the Bartlett School of Architecture in the University College of London in 2003. Prior to working at Pieris Architects, Pieros has worked at Diamond Architects in London and is a member of the registered architect's board of Greece (TEE).

Pieros Pieris has an important role in developing the experimental profile of the firm. The ongoing research of the practice on the use of biopolymers in facade cladding dates back from his years in university and is characteristic of the practice's commitment to researching, testing and developing new materials and methods of construction. He has been the partner in charge for the Earthquake Memorial Competition where Peter Cook referring to the project stated that "the delightful details and a section of high design quality suggest that the authors will be revealed as being the most professionally memorable designers either know or over time." Amongst other interactive projects, the awarded proposal for the Parachute Pavilion in New York and the proposal for the Olympic Memorial in Athens are indicative of Pieris Architects views of the present and future of architecture.
