Atlhetic and Cultural Park, Agia Paraskevi
The masterplan of the athletic and cultural park envisions a harmonious fusion of landscape and architecture.
A loop, composed of twin routes—one for cyclists and one for pedestrians—becomes the circulatory backbone of the park. To the south, the pedestrian path gracefully elevates into a bridge, marking the park’s primary entrance and framing a grand access to the sports field below.
The park is conceived as a dynamic urban environment that caters to a broad demographic, offering spaces that transcend their functional purposes to become hubs of social interaction.

Skylights, meticulously introduce natural light into underground basketball and archery fields, doubling as climbing walls that punctuate the park’s landscape with iconic verticality.
On the eastern part of the park, a creative hub emerges, home to a multi-purpose open air venues and cinemas.
The adaptive reuse of the site’s historic military buildings transforms them into a lively workshop and art centre, preserving the narrative of the past while projecting it into a sustainable future.
