Jointless Chair

Chair

“Jointless Chair” transforms the act of sitting into an exploration of perception, transparency and suspended structure. Constructed from layered plexiglass and lacquered red wood, the chair dissolves the visual language of conventional furniture, replacing visible connections with an almost immaterial architectural composition.
The transparent acrylic frame refracts light and shadow while allowing the red structural elements to appear as if they are floating independently in space. By deconstructing the logic of assembly into separated planes, rods and voids, the piece creates a tension between solidity and disappearance — an object that feels simultaneously engineered and ephemeral.
Positioned between collectible design, architectural artifact and sculptural experiment, “Jointless Chair” challenges the boundaries between structure and illusion, transforming a familiar typology into a study of weightlessness and visual deconstruction.
