Project Title:
Monument Table
Typology:
Dinner Table
Location:
Kefalari, Athens, Greece
A reused dining table transformed through the application of a Wall&decò wallpaper onto the tabletop for a private client, reimagining an ordinary domestic object as a collectible piece suspended between furniture, architectural drawing, and artifact. The intervention preserves the simplicity of the existing structure while redefining its presence through a layered surface of classical fragments, technical annotations and imagined ruins.
Rather than functioning as decoration, the wallpaper operates as an architectural skin that wraps and redefines the object, evoking the language of archival drawings and fragmented monuments. By repurposing both an existing dining table and a Wall&decò wallpaper sample, the project transforms material surplus into a contemporary artifact positioned between craftsmanship, collectible design, and functional furniture.
