5.520 sq.m, 46 units x 120 sq.m
This type of residences consists of forty-six units.
Each building accommodates two residences of 120 sq.m each.
They are part of a large Energy Zero residential development of two hundred and fifty units located at Peya in Cyprus.
The development consists of luxury villas and apartments, a central square, a gallery, an arts and crafts center, a mini market, a community center, a gym, restaurant and coffee shops.
The residences are energy-zero which means that the total amount of energy that they are using on an annual basis is equal to the amount of renewable energy created on the site.
The aim of the design was to take advantage of the site’s topography and climate characteristics in order to create an architecture that blends the luxury way of living with a sincere ecological sensitivity .
The two residences on each block have similar spaces without being symmetrical. They have open plan spaces and blend with their natural surroundings.
Custom made fins offer variation to the buildings’ facades and act as solar shading devices.
